The service area runs 58,213 households and 37,842 owner-occupied houses, and most of that was built in a fairly tight window: 1977 through 2009, median 2003. Eight of the named areas we get calls from carry mostly 2000s-era construction, which means a lot of these houses were built with the same vintage of steel sectional doors, torsion hardware, and chain-drive openers going in at roughly the same pace as the neighborhoods themselves.
What that means for a homeowner: if your house dates to that build-out, your door and opener are likely original or close to it, and they're reaching the point where springs, rollers, and drive gears wear out together rather than one at a time. We don't have a year-by-year breakdown for every named area individually - the data we have is for the service area as a whole - so we won't tell you your specific street is older or newer than your neighbor's without seeing it.
We run trucks out from Meridian toward Kuna and Eagle (both 6 miles), Garden City (7 miles), Star (8 miles), and out to Middleton and Caldwell (13 miles), with Melba and Emmett the longest runs at 18 miles. Closer in, we also reach West Boise, West Valley, and Two Rivers/Banbury (all roughly 5 miles), Southwest Ada County Alliance and West Bench nearby, and the Boise-adjacent areas - Franklin-Randolph, Northwest Boise City, Boise Bench, Hillcrest, Veterans Park, Vistas, Downtown, North End, Southeast Boise, and East End - between 7 and 12 miles out. We don't have a storefront or crew stationed in any of these; we travel there from the Meridian shop.
